Category:Hey everybody, I know this might look like deja vu. So I’m going to do it again.
Tuesday, Teresa. I’m so glad you came.
Today we’re going to talk about tips. This is Week two for tips and how to survive the holidays. This is Thanksgiving week and with Thanksgiving week coming up. just thinking about what he wants to eat who you’re going to eat it with all that kind of stuff.
So this week we’re going to talk about food. We’re going to talk about ways that you can survive the holidays and still eat food.
Last week we talked about water how important water is you need to make sure you’re not going to be dehydrated over the season.
And if you remember I had mentioned that if you drink two eight ounce glasses of water together. That is going to rev up your calorie burning system and you were going to start burning 30% more calories that starts like 40 minutes after you drink that water and it lasts for an hour. So hey, if you can, you know, burn some of those extra calories, just by drinking some water. Do it.
Try and stick to your regular eating times. And if that’s not possible. If your meal is being prepared or ready when you normally eat then do a little snack. When you normally that’s going to help keep your blood sugar going you know, it’ll at a normal rate, it’s not going to spike do another tip snowflakes. It’s true, their studies and to use our plates is tall skinny glasses. Start with veggies.
Now, eat slowly.
Did you know that it takes 20 minutes for your brain to know you are full.
20 minutes. So eat slowly.
You are going to consume alcohol, which most of us we will little bit do food.
Another tip. I’m going to say, choose your high calorie foods wisely. In other words, don’t be eating all the stuff that you can eat any day of the week. Save it for grantees can yams, or her pumpkin pie or whatever it is that’s your favorite. I totally think you don’t deprive yourself over these holidays, but also don’t eat the whole pie. So again, don’t deprive yourself in the pie. Just don’t need it all.
So that’s my tips for today and I hope you join me next Tuesday or week three of surviving the holidays and I hope you guys have a wonderful
Safe things given I’m grateful for each and every one of you that are here. Thanks again. Have a great day. See you next week. Bye bye.
